Minnesota Incurs Millions of Dollars in Legal Costs; Misguided Sex-Offender Policies Partly to Blame

The Minnesota Department of Human Services budget has been gutted in part due to millions of dollars in legal costs incurred because of unconstitutional sex-offender laws. Human Services is the state’s largest agency, employing more than 6,000 and serving more than 1 million Minnesotans.
